  • Editorial Policy: How We Research and Review Content

Peptide Labs publishes plain-English guides on dietary supplements, hemp CBD, peptides and GLP-1 medicines. This page explains how that content is researched, checked and kept up to date, so readers and search engines can judge how much weight to give it.

How we research

  • Primary sources first. Drug facts come from the current U.S. prescribing information on DailyMed or the manufacturer, and from FDA announcements. Regulatory facts come from the FDA, the Federal Register and the U.S. Code. Research findings come from peer-reviewed journals indexed in PubMed, and from NIH resources such as the Office of Dietary Supplements and NCCIH.
  • Product facts come from the label. Ingredient amounts, serving sizes and warnings on our product pages are taken from each product’s Supplement Facts or Drug Facts panel, not from marketing copy.
  • Studies are described as they were run. We report the study type, the number of people, the result and the limitations, and we say when research is small, early, animal-only or funded by a manufacturer.
  • Dates are stated. Anything that changes over time, such as approvals, label changes and compounding rules, is dated, and each article shows when it was last reviewed.

What we do not publish

  • No claims that a dietary supplement treats, cures or prevents a disease. Supplement statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.
  • No dosing, cycling, mixing or injection instructions for any peptide or medicine.
  • No sourcing information for prescription, investigational or unapproved compounds. Peptide Labs does not sell them; our Peptide Guide is information only.
  • No personal medical advice. Our content is general information; decisions about medicines and supplements belong with a licensed healthcare provider.

Corrections and updates

When a label, approval or rule changes, we update the affected pages and their review date. For example, when the FDA asked for the suicidal-thoughts warning to be removed from several weight-management medicines in January 2026, we corrected our comparison article. If you spot an error, please contact us and we will review it.

Independence

Peptide Labs is a retailer, and some guides link to products we sell. Those links never change what the evidence says: articles state limitations and safety information whether or not we carry a related product, and many of our most-read guides are about medicines we do not sell at all.
